Spectrum Controls Offers new Eight Channel Universal Analog Input Module

Multi-Faceted Module Provides Selectable Current, Voltage, Resistance, RTD and Thermocouple

August 2, 2002—BELLEVUE, Washington — Spectrum Controls, Inc., the leading manufacturer of hardware and software for the industrial controls marketplace, is pleased to announce the addition of the 1756sc-IF8u Enhanced Universal Analog Input Module to their broad product line. This module was specifically designed to accommodate Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756 I/O chassis and is scheduled for release  late August 2002.

The 1756sc-IF8u is the preferred solution for mixed I/O applications. This eight channel analog input module accepts current, voltage, resistance, thermocouple and RTD input types. Data is fully linearized and output in user-selectable engineering units. Channel configuration is convenient and easy to complete—using existing programming software.

The 1756sc-IF8u offers channel updates similar to dedicated analog or temperature modules—with higher accuracy and resolution. The 1756sc-IF8u supports 38 input types.

The 1756sc-IF8u offers unsurpassed performance and flexibility in any application or industry—from water/wastewater and manufacturing to food processing and oil/gas and offers the lowest price-per-point available. The 1756sc-IF8u reduces systems costs by eliminating the need for several specific input modules.
