Contact: Spectrum Controls Announces Agreement
with Rockwell Automation to provide global technical product telephone support for Spectrum Controls May 20, 2002—Bellevue, Washington — Spectrum Controls, Inc., the leading manufacturer of hardware and software for the industrial controls marketplace, is pleased to announce an agreement with Rockwell Automation for technical telephone support of the Spectrum Controls product line. Spectrum Controls is the first Rockwell Automation Encompass partner to contract with their Customer Support Centers for this new technical support initiative scheduled to launch in June 2002.
Rockwell Automation will provide technical support of Spectrum Control’s SLC 500, PLC-5 and ControlLogix I/O modules worldwide. Rockwell Automation Support Centers are currently based in the United States, Brazil, Australia, United Kingdom and Germany. Customers can access technical support for Spectrum Controls’ products via telephone from 8 am to 5 pm daily and through email.
Rockwell Automation has been audited and certified as a highly effective technical call center by the Support Centers Practices (SCP) organization. SCP is a certification program that defines and quantifies support quality objectives. Every year since 1998, Rockwell Automation Customer Support Centers has been recognized with this certification. This world-class support organization will provide Spectrum Controls’ customers multi-lingual, state-of-the-art product support with experienced Rockwell Automation engineers.
