Spectrum Controls Announces New Appointments in Engineering and Operations Management

April 15, 2003—Bellevue, Washington—Spectrum Controls, Inc., a leading manufacturer of hardware and software for the industrial controls marketplace, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Ridgeway as director of operations and Jack Rodgers as director of engineering. Ridgeway and Rodgers bring extensive management expertise to these new leadership roles, and will help provide guidance in obtaining strategic corporate objectives.

 

Bob Ridgeway, formerly operations manager, brings more than 30 years of operations expertise—ranging from operations and manufacturing to material and service management. Since joining Spectrum Controls in 1999, Ridgeway has successfully doubled utilization and improved gross margin by more than 10 percent while introducing more than 12 new products.  Previously, Ridgeway held various managerial positions at ADIC, Applied Precision and Honeywell/Alliant TechSystems. Ridgeway holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, mechanical engineering and another in industrial engineering from the University of Washington and has completed a variety of organization and managerial trainings.

 

Jack Rodgers, formerly engineering manager, offers more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry. Rodgers expertise includes engineering project and program management of hardware and software engineering teams and managing engineering contract projects, including scheduling, budgeting and coordinating inter- and intradepartmental efforts. Since joining Spectrum Controls in 1995, Rodgers has successfully managed the design and introduction of a wide range of industrial control products. Rodgers earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program through the University of Washington Business School.
