The
new analog input and analog output modules provide full analog capability
with the added benefit of
HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) Protocol in just one module.
These
Analog I/O Modules with HART
Protocol maximize I/O performance by combining real-time HART data
acquisition in conjunction with standard analog acquisition and
control—at a fraction of the cost.
Each module also acts as a HART master, allowing communication with HART-enabled
field devices. Field devices may be interfaced directly to the module,
eliminating the expense of additional external HART bridge devices or
hand-held communicators. When used in conjunction with an asset management
system (AMS), the Analog I/IO Modules with HART Protocol provide
configuration, calibration, diagnosis and troubleshooting of smart field
devices from a desktop PC. This ability can increase product quality and
minimize unplanned downtime, while improving the productivity and
profitability of the process.
The Analog I/O HART modules seamlessly integrate with Honeywell’s new
process platform—the Experion PKS automation system—which
controls, monitors and manages complex control processes. Setup is convenient and easy with support from
PKS
programming software.
Experion PKS was
designed for global manufacturers and mill operators throughout the
energy, chemical and pulp/ paper and printing industries to increase
productivity, safety and profitability. As an integral component of
Honeywell’s complete Process Knowledge SolutionTM
suite of
knowledge-driven applications,
Spectrum
Controls’ Analog I/O Modules with HART Protocol reduce wiring and
simplify maintenance. The result is maximum data access
with a low total cost-of-ownership.
