Spectrum Controls Releases Add-on Configuration Profile for Universal Analog Module

RSLogix 5000 Profile Simplifies Configuration of Flexible Compact I/O Module

January 27, 2005—Bellevue, Washington—Spectrum Controls, Inc., a leading manufacturer of hardware and software for the industrial controls marketplace, is pleased to announce availability of a new configuration profile for the 1769sc-IF8u Universal Analog Input Module. This profile is incorporated into the Rockwell Automation RSLogix 5000 programming software and allows you to configure the I/O module using simple, menu-driven dialog.

The 1769sc-IF8u Universal Input Module is the preferred solution for high density and mixed analog input applications. This eight channel analog input module accepts eight current, voltage, resistance, thermocouple and four RTD inputs. Signal types may be mixed and matched to accommodate various applications. The profile greatly simplifies setup of input type, filter frequency, engineering units and alarms.

The profile is available for download at www.spectrumcontrols.com. It will also be bundled with Rockwell Software RSLogix 5000 Release 14.
